BREXIT BLOCK: EU bureaucrats tell Britain to PAY £20BN bill or we WON’T let you leave

BRUSSELS bureaucrats are forcing Britain to cough up a staggering £20BILLION before the country unshackles itself from the beleaguered bloc, it has emerged.

The EU is demanding Britain pay up

The European Union has threatened to hold the UK to ransom if it fails to pay the bill, in a scathing attack on democracy following Britain’s momentous Brexit vote.An EU source told a German newspaper: “A deal with Britain is inconceivable if the British do not settle these liabilities.”

EU Commission lawyers have warned Theresa May’s Government a failure to pay up would equal a debt default, according to reports.

The crumbling Brussels club appears to be desperately trying to put blocks in the way of a British exit following the Leave vote on June 23.EU big cheese Jean-Claude Juncker has already warned Britain will not gain access to the single market if it refuses to accept freedom of movement rules.

And in a further move to stop Britain from fully leaving the bloc, Brussels chiefs say they could offer the UK temporary curbs on immigration in return for access to the single market.

However, Brexiteers dug their heels in and insisted they will not let Prime Minister Theresa May backslide on Brexit by surrendering on immigration and trade.Even though she supported the Remain side during the historic referendum, Mrs May has admitted she does not expect to trigger formal EU talks this year, but has repeatedly insisted “Brexit means Brexit”.

Yesterday, the feisty PM slapped down Scottish first minister Nicola Sturgeon insisting she won’t be able to discuss her own Brexit deal with the EU.Europe minister Sir Alan Duncan said Westminster holds total control over Leave negotiations, putting the final nail in the coffin of the wily SNP leader’s bid to discuss Scotland’s future EU relationship with Brussels.

At the risk of pissing someone off the reason most of the migrants who have come here since Merkel begged them to come. Are young unattached men who look healthy enough with all the trappings of the west and very few women and children. They come to the UK not to help our economy they should just stop at the first safe port if they were fleeing war. instead they travel half way round the world. they come here knowing they will be clothed fed given somewhere to live and money in there pocket. Pretty much a no brainier, who… Read more »

I agree with everything that you have written Stephen, though you omitted to add that many of those young, ‘healthy’ migrants migrants are coming here with absolutely no health checks, yet many come from regions where AIDS and Tuberculosis are endemic and few of them will desist from intimacy with indigenous people given the opportunity. Also, many of them will claim the right to ‘Family Life’ by bringing their ‘dependents’ into the Country and thereby swelling the ‘hidden’ immigration.

Why would anyone be surprised that you have to honor your obligations when you break the contract you agreed upon. Member fee is something else that you pay to acquire other benefits etc. while debts have different rules.
Weird how British citizens don’t see they have at least one thing in common with migrants – those migrants also dislike their home countries and out of all the countries they choose UK 🙂

Thanks for your efforts Pader I will keep an eye on this blog and I will definitely sign the petition when it is hopefully active. I think the whole system of government we now have is flawed as it is all about money, not what it right or wrong. A system the Eu are very good at, Particularly buying loyalty, but with them running skint now hopefully people will rebel. We have to defend Democracy whenever and however we can or we will lose it.How we could change this I don’t know, But democracy is in my opinion in serious… Read more »

Please let me know on the Petition front Pader. Yes I think we should just say Ok we have played nice but as you obviously don’t want to play sensibly then we will now claim our independence from the Eu and will leave you to it. Here is our letter of independence, Goodbye. Oh by the way your laws are no longer in effect in the UK and there is no more money going from Britain to the EU. We will implement our own border control from now onwards. Basically Screw you, Well at least a strong PM would probably… Read more »

Hello Stephen, I shall certainly let the whole readership know what is going on as it progresses. I have just started a petition that the Government actively pursues new trade deals outside of the EU and, more importantly, activates them immediately irrespective of whether the EU likes it or not. The petition already has sufficient sponsors to activate it and I am waiting on the Petition Team to set it up. I am afraid that I have little faith in their neutrality as they used a previous one to break Purdah and use the ‘Government response’ to put out more… Read more »

Under the UN sponsored Vienna Convention on Treaty Law:1969, Britain’s membership of the EU is illegal. It is International Law and FACT. The Vienna Convention was in place long before Britain was signed up by Edward Heath. We are perfectly within our legal rights to just walk away from the EU, let alone pay this ransom. Unfortunately, we cannot raise a petition to force the Government to recognise this fact as the Petition rules preclude any petitions regarding Law. I have, however, just started a petition that the Government ignores EU rules that prevent us implementing trade deals elsewhere before… Read more »
