WALK AWAY! Brexit no deal is ‘win win’ because EU needs UK MORE than we need them

A BREXIT ‘no deal’ is a “win win” for Britain because the European Union (EU) “needs the UK more than we need them”, a political commentator has blasted.

Paul Quigley claimed the Brussels club is “collapsing” and the eurozone is in “meltdown” while Britain “sets sail for prosperity is a new era of post-communitarian competition and choice”.Mr Quigley launched the scathing attack on the “fake state” EU as he said Britain was “well placed to walk away from any stitch-up deal” leaving the bloc in tatters in its wake.

He told Express.co.uk: “The fact is, that as the fifth largest economy in the world according to experts, Britain is well-placed to walk away from any stitch-up deal with the collapsing EU anyway.

“The EU is collapsing, the euro fiat currency is in meltdown and Britain is setting sail for prosperity in a a new era of post-communitarian competition and choice.

As Brexit talks appear to flounder, with Britain and the EU clashing over the size of the Brexit divorce bill that the UK must pay to leave, the nation could be forced to walk away with no deal.Time is running out before the deadline of March 2019 and Theresa May has signalled there will be no transitional period unless a deal is struck.

Quizzed over Mrs May’s leadership skills as she leads Britain through its exit from the bloc, Mr Quigley accused the Tory leader of blocking a ‘hard Brexit’, saying it would be easier for her to step down.

He said: “Having any Remainer out of the way will help ensure the will of the British People is respected and implemented as pledged in the referendum.”Mr Quigley urged the Tories to quit infighting over Boris Johnson’s suspected bid for leadership and get on with the job.

He said: “The majority of Britons who voted for Brexit are still waiting for justice to be done and their political sovereignty returned since it was stolen from the nation in the first place.

“You should ignore such shenanigans and focus on the key issue of comprehensive parliamentary reform through a new reform bill to enshrine our sovereignty once more forever in our Common Law.”
